The Satellite Club has a number of activities planned in January and February.

Following a recap on Decembers bell-ringing, the club heard a presentation by Herb Doloway, Chairperson of Corpus Christis St. Vincent de Paul Society, one of several local food pantries.  The presentation tied in to the January project: supporting United Ways "MLK Day Casual for Community" event, a fund-raiser to help restock local food pantries after the Christmas rush. The event also incldues a childrens book drive.

Rotarians can get involved by helping to collect donations on Monday, January 18, sorting and delivering donations on Tuesday, January 19th, and by donating food, childrens books or cash. Donations are due Thursday, January 14.  For more information on the event including the type of food that is being requested, please email Amy Hicks or call United Way at 262-0015.

Reminder: the next Satellite meeting will be Ground Hog Day, February 2, at a location to be announced. The project for February is creating care packages for homeless students in the Chambersburg Area School District.
